McAllister Mills is your one-stop shop for thermal solutions, whether it’s a catalog item or a prototype for a completely custom application. Weaving

McAllister Mills has been manufacturing woven fiberglass and silica fabrics for over 25 years. Fabric weights range from 5 oz. / square yard, up to over 70 oz. / square yard and in widths up to 84 inches. Standard fibers utilized include: Filament E-Glass, Texturized E-Glass, S-Glass, Filament Silica Fiber and Texturized Silica Fiber. Various fabric weaves are available including plain, twill, satin, and leno.

Fabric Coating

McAllister Mills high temperature textiles are available with a variety of coatings including: Silicone, Neoprene, PTFE, Vermiculite, Graphite, Aluminum, Fluoroelastomer, HT Treatment, etc. We can coat fabrics up to 72” wide.

Die Cutting

At McAllister Mills, we die cut a wide range of materials including: woven fabrics, paper, non-woven felt, insulation blanket and various other materials that can be cut by hand or with traditional steel rule dies. For higher volumes or tighter tolerances, other cutting methods are available including water jet and high speed automatic presses.

Slitting

McAllister Mills utilizes various technologies to slit almost any material including: Woven Fabrics, Coated Fabrics, Insulation Blanket, etc. If your application calls for one of these materials in a size that is less than the standard offerings, let us know and we’ll slit it to width for you.

Needling

For needling, we are able to utilize our Tritex LLC plant for non-woven production opportunities. The unique patented process provides the ability to blend up to 3 fibers, either vitreous or synthetic. Products can be manufactured from 1/8” thick up to 1” thick and widths up to 3 meters wide.

Sewing and Fabrication

Need something special? McAllister Mills can utilize a wide range of fabrics, tapes, insulation materials and fabricate it into a solution for your application. A variety of products can be manufactured including: Tadpole Tape, Insulation Blanket, Welding Curtains, Expansion Joint Belts, Heat Shields, Gaskets, Specialty Oven/Furnace Door Seals, etc.
