These tapes deliver much higher strength than fiberglass and have a higher melt temperature. Engineered to your application, VR1200 is made from continuous filament volcanic rock fiber (basalt) for 1200°F thermal protection. An excellent choice when glass tapes will not handle the application temperature, basalt will handle 20% more temperature resistance than our fiberglass E-Glass tapes.
