McAllister Mills' fiberglass products are made from silica and aluminum oxides, forming E- Glass fibers. This makes them extremely resistant to high work temperatures, mechanically resistant, chemically stable, waterproof from both oils and water, and electrically and thermally insulating. These high temperature, heat-resistant fabrics are manufactured from either 6- or 9-micron diameter fibers, which provides our products with great flexibility and resistance to vibrations and abrasion. This type of fiberglass fabric is economical, chemical resistant, strong, and withstands a reasonable amount of temperature at service.
