Maxsil®Tex
Strong, flexible, high-temperature silica tape
MaxSil®Tex silica tape is manufactured from texturized amorphous silica filament yarn – not leached fiberglass cloths or tapes – and woven into a strong and flexible form for service temperature of 2000°F. Our ultra high-temperature tape is preshrunk allowing no more than 3% shrinkage at maximum service temperatures. Offering better abrasion resistance than other silica fiber tapes, MaxSil®Tex silica tape still says soft and flexible even at 2000°F/1100°C.
