Silica Round Dense-Knitted Ropes

Densely knitted silica rope utilizes air blown silica yarn. A firmer density allows for better sealing properties. These knitted ropes will not unravel when cut. This is the economical choice for door seals, tadpole seals, and general caulking and stuffing applications at service temperatures of 2000°F/1100°C and below. These ropes are available in diameters from 0.75" - 2" round (6mm through 50mm). At extreme temperatures in the application, McAllister Mills silica dense-knitted ropes will not lose thickness like traditional ceramic ropes.
